Discussing the 2012 NBA Draft Lottery

The 2012 NBA Draft is here, and this year’s draft in particular is an especially exciting one. After the consensus number one pick Anthony Davis, the rest of the lottery’s order was a complete toss-up. There were some face-palm inducing picks in the first round, but the biggest surprise might be Michael Jordan’s Bobcats making a smart pick at #2. The King gets his ring

Lebron James reached his goal of winning his FIRST championship ever last night as the Heat toppled the Thunder 121-106 in Game 5 of the NBA finals. It was a well deserved championship by the Heat and their dominating forces on the court, but the Thunder put up a great fight. They are a young team and they will get their glory in years to come.

So what’s next for Lebron? Talk of him playing on the USA basketball team in the 2012 olympics is heating up… I guess we will wait and see.

Heat Slide by Thunder, Take Game 3

LeBron James and the Miami Heat exposed the youth of the Oklahoma City Thunder going on to win game three in Miami.  Still feeling the pains from their loss to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals last year, the Heat seem poised to not let that happen again.  Miami leads the series 2-1.

P.S. The NFL’s Vince Lombardi trophy seems so small — the Heisman Trophy even weighs 25 lbs!
